Frequently Asked Questions

1. What inspired you to write the Nailed It series?

Nailed It was born from my own journey of healing, faith, and starting over. I wanted to write a love story for women over 40—women who have lived, lost, loved, rebuilt, and still believe in love. It’s part manifestation, part storytelling, and part reminder that joy doesn’t expire.

2. Are the characters based on real people?

This series reflects my own life in fictional form—rooted in faith, guided by hope, and aimed toward the future I’m calling in. Each woman symbolizes a different part of me: the past I’ve lived, the present I’m embracing, and the future I’m stepping into.

3. What genre do you write?

Contemporary romance with emotional depth, midlife themes, and a touch of faith-guided healing. I write love stories for women who know who they are and still choose to believe in more.

4. Why did you choose a tiny home setting?

Because I live it! I’m renovating my own off grid, tiny house and dreaming of fully transitioning to tiny living in the very near future. It felt natural to set my stories in a place that represents freedom, peace, and intentional living.

5. Is the Nailed It series spicy?

Book One is warm, emotional, and sensual—but not graphic. Book Two (Tasha’s story)… well, let’s just say she’s a little more adventurous. Each book matches the personality of its lead character.

6. Is the Nailed It series spicy?

Book One is warm, sensual, and emotional. Book Two—Tasha’s story—turns up the heat. Each book’s tone matches its leading lady.

7. How do faith and spirituality show up in your books?

Not as religion, but as guidance. My characters talk to God, trust their intuition, and lean on faith as they heal and grow—just like I do.

8. Why midlife romance?

Because women over 40 deserve to see themselves as desirable, powerful, and worthy of love that feels both steady and thrilling. Midlife isn’t a plot twist—it’s a whole new chapter.

9. Will there be more books after the main trilogy?

Yes! After the Nailed It series, I’m writing a three-book collection exploring each woman’s backstory—the heartbreaks, choices, and turning points that led them to tiny living and to each other.

10. How can readers stay updated on new releases?
